Poke Transfer
The Generation IV to V one-way lab.
The Poke Transfer Lab in Generation V (Black, White, Black 2, White 2) pulls Pokemon up from a Generation IV game. Like Pal Park before it, it is permanent and one-way.
Poke Transfer uses two DS systems at once: one running the Gen IV game with the Pokemon to send, and one running the Gen V game to receive them. The receiving player plays a small bow-and-arrow mini game to catch the incoming Pokemon. Held items are removed before transfer. Because it needs two systems and local wireless, it is the trickiest classic step for solo collectors.
Step by step
-
1
Place the Pokemon you want to move into the boxes of your Gen IV game.
-
2
On the Gen V system, visit the Poke Transfer Lab (north of Nimbasa-area route after entering the Hall of Fame).
-
3
Connect the two DS systems via local wireless.
-
4
Fire the Poke Transfer arrows to catch each Pokemon and complete the one-way move.
